Create a Codex theme.
Publish it for free.

Use the same open schema and validator as our first-party themes. Nothing is sold: creators publish reviewed packs and everyone can install them for free.

Starting direction loaded

X Signal Network Concept

A stark monochrome communications landscape with white signal paths, a distant broadcast structure, and the official X mark integrated into the coded interface rather than painted into the background. The live-feed language occupies structured interface zones while a near-black reading field keeps Codex threads, diffs, and the composer highly legible.

Choose your authoring path

Make one component.
Or the whole system.

Every path receives safe adaptive fallbacks. Authors submit constrained design tokens—never CSS, HTML, scripts, selectors, or SVG paths.

Focused

Choose your parts.

Customize Foundation plus the component groups you care about. Each selected group must include all of its required states.

Commandnpx get-codex-theme@0.4.0 create my-theme --path focused --components buttons, icons

Complete

Design all seven.

Complete every token and state across buttons, icons, forms, task artifacts, feedback, routes, and the foundation layer.

Commandnpx get-codex-theme@0.4.0 create my-theme --path complete

Assisted

Extract, then tune.

Generate an accessible full component baseline from an image, then override only the pieces that need a distinctive brand treatment.

Commandnpx get-codex-theme@0.4.0 create-from-image art.png my-theme --path assisted

Commandnpx get-codex-theme@0.4.0 coverage ./my-theme

Four release steps

The validator is the contract.

01

Create the skeleton

Start with a manifest, token file, rights record, and the required responsive asset slots.

Commandnpx get-codex-theme@0.4.0 create my-theme --name "My Theme" --mode dark

02

Add original assets

Complete the three background ratios, home/task/narrow screenshots, palette tokens, checksums, and LICENSE-ASSETS.txt.

03

Validate and pack

Strict validation checks paths, image dimensions, palette values, rights metadata, and the install contract before producing a release ZIP.

Commandnpx get-codex-theme@0.4.0 validate ./my-theme --strict-assets

Commandnpx get-codex-theme@0.4.0 pack ./my-theme

04

Submit for review

Sign in with Google or GitHub, choose a category and public author profile, then upload the ZIP. Approved packs appear in the gallery with a one-command install.
