Takedown process

A clear route for rights holders, creators, and affected people to request review or removal of public Registry content.

Before submitting

Send enough information to act.

Include

  • • Your name and a reliable contact address.
  • • The exact theme, creator, request, preview, or page URL.
  • • The right or policy at issue and your relationship to it.
  • • The original work, identity, or legal material that supports the request.
  • • The specific action requested and a good-faith statement that the information is accurate.

What happens next

We review the report, preserve the minimum necessary evidence, and may temporarily restrict access while the issue is investigated. We may contact the publisher and may share the substance of a claim when needed for a fair response, but will not publish your contact details.

Outcomes

A report may result in no action, corrected attribution, a warning, engagement adjustment, temporary restriction, delisting, identity suspension, or removal. Counter-notices and appeals are reviewed using the same evidence-focused process.
